emily and ted's wedding was so filled with details~ my very favorite kind of a wedding! they decided to get married at l'auberge in del mar, with the ceremony overlooking the pacific ocean at seagrove park. they wanted to incorporate the textures, colors and feel of the ocean, without a ton of seashells and the usual "look" of an ocean side event. we enlisted the help of lavonne at adorations, and we were off and running! beautiful corals, vibrant teal blues, and tons of textures were incorporated into the design. sea fans, coral, and unique flowers were also used to create the look....cocktails overlooked the ocean as well, and then guests moved over to l'auberge's rooftop to dine. after dinner, the guests were escorted downstairs where they were greeted with lounge furniture, a custom dance floor by platinum productions, and a liquid nitrogen ice cream station by sensational treats. a custom gobo in the same design as their invitation also was on display, and we shined that onto the waterfall. it was a beautiful event with gorgeous details, and an awesome couple. thank you to miles pelky for dj'ing, oscar aragon for his guitar skills, and to cary pennington for capturing the day. the photos are beautiful!!
