heather & randy

please forgive the looooong blog post, but i loved so much about this wedding and the pictures are great too!! jennifer dery hooked us up with some really great shots of heather & randy's wedding at the lodge at torrey pines. as i've said before, i love the lodge, and the ceremony site and reception this time around were beautiful~ thanks to lavonne at adorations! i loved the concept of this wedding~ hawaii meets the lodge :) heather and her entire family is from hawaii, and everyone flew over to help celebrate the day. orchids, rocks and dark wood were brought together to blend the styles, and it was just beautiful! their wedding took place during the soccer world cup, and the groomsmen brought vuvuzelas to the wedding to help celebrate in style! heather wore a beautiful necklace that was given to her by her grandfather, and it set off the dress perfectly. planning was so much fun with heather, her decisiveness was wonderful! the ceremony music was performed by the section quartet, and let me tell you~ they rocked! i loved the processional song choice- "everlong" by the foo fighters. the la allstars were here to keep the guests entertained through the reception, and they definitely delivered. we had specialty chairs and linens from classic party rentals, and cabanas brought in especially for the cocktail hour. it was a perfect day with great details, and we could not be happier for heather and randy!
